I am. I've never slept much after the trials.

[more that a combination of her own pain and the Queen's psychic assault was keeping her well away from sleep at the moment.]

We don't really sleep here. We can, but there's no point because we don't get tired or anything.

...do you want to talk? During trial I had Allen next to me the whole time. [ Which was fine, he didn't mind-- but privacy was still nice.]

And before all we had were brief moments of time.

Is it at all better over there?

It would be really nice if it wasn't so boring.

There's a meadow with sunflowers and a cabin that's pretty comfy, it has a fireplace and stuff. But there's not really much to do other than daydream and watch what happens on the ship through the monitors.

I'd trade you if I could. You take the spaceship, I'll take the sunflowers.

I think if we had our powers, I would be more okay with it. I really miss casting magic, and I miss Terumi a lot.

I think Terumi would be happy I killed someone, so I understand that a little bit.

There's a lot about me that no one's figured out yet. But I like you, Kazuma. I don't mind your interest.

In exchange, I have a question. What do you define as "killing"? Making the decision to end someone's life? Or the act of inflicting something upon them that will end in death?

[These are philosophical questions Kazuma is not honestly equipped to answer, but for Grell he'll try.]

Taking someone's life. Whether it's instantly or slowly...

So, if someone was shot, let's say, and bleeding out, we'd call the one who shot him his murderer. But say someone else came along. Someone who could, with whatever power, cut all that off right there. They can decide if he goes now, or if he suffers more to most likely end in infection, agony, death simply put off for a few minutes more.

If they make the call, are they his killer? Or is the one who was making him suffer and rush into death's embrace?

You don't have to answer me straightaway. But if you can figure out an answer to it, then I think it might help you understand a little better.

I don't understand a lot about myself, Miss Grell, I'm sorry. I've only recently understood what really makes me happy, even if other people don't like it. I just want to be me.

And regardless of whoever you want to be, I want you to be you.
