Week 3 // Wednesday Evening

[ Yesterday was certainly...something. It had taken Kazuma some time to really get ahold of himself after what he had seen, though he came to in his room at least. And while he felt mostly okay now, he had still made himself sparse thereafter. The growing paranoia didn't really help matters either.

Wednesday night finds him in his room, busying himself over notes. It was better than dealing with people right now anyway.]

[ Kazuma sits down with a small sigh.]

I didn't expect to see... [ And he cuts himself off because it's for the best that he not try to remember in detail what exactly he saw.]

I'm okay, I didn't faint at least. [ Because clearly losing your mind is better than looking like a wimp. It also may be a slight jab at Rhys.]

My cape not so much.

[ Adam leans against his desk, glancing around for any sign of blood that could prove unfortunate if Kazuma ends up a suspect again. When he mentions the cape, Adam notices it missing. ]

What happened to it? Do you mind talking about the situation?

[ His room is thankfully, gore free. The bathroom not so much, but one thing at a time.]

Rhys threw up on it, and some of the...bits got on it in all that mess. [ Negative emotions aren't really something Kazuma does, but Adam might be able to notice that he's actually annoyed about the cape. He really likes his cape!

Thankfully he has one spare ( which he doesn't have on now), but he's still probably down a cape. Unless Todomatsu is really good at getting gore stains out...]

I don't mind. Did you want to know what the scene looked like or-?

[ Is Kazuma giving him another reason to dislike Rhys? Excellent. ] Isn't he listed as a murderer? With a weak stomach?

[ He shakes his head, looking annoyed as well. Probably for different reasons, but it's nice to share an emotion. ] Um, well. Not details or anything. But what happened? How did you end up there? Do you know how they were killed?

[ It is the best reason to bond ever.] He is. His profile says he's good at crying, too. [ Okay he might actually be smirking a bit at that.]

There was a trail of blood from the rooms when I woke up. I went with Bull to investigate and it lead us to the viewing port which was locked. Rhys showed up a bit later and made the robot open the door for us.

I don't know how they were killed but— they were dismembered and their parts were everywhere. [ He stops himself because Adam said he didn't want the details, and because he has to cough or for a second, or it kind of sounds like a cough anyway.]

[ Adam is also smirking. He wouldn't mind voting for Rhys some more. ]

I see. And the AI said there would be no investigation or trial. [ He takes a moment to think. ] It might have been someone—not one of us who did it. After all, how else would they open the pods? But why?

Right.

I think it was just that, or the robot wouldn't have been as surprised as she was. I guess they thought stasis wasn't a harsh enough punishment. [ They certainly wanted to make a statement of some kind.]
